Besible
How Besible works

An AI citation audit that tells you
what to fix, not just what's broken.

Besible runs 60 prompts across ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity, scored against 10 citation factors trained on 181 B2B SaaS brands. The output is a ranked action list, not a dashboard to stare at.

The methodology

How the 60-prompt audit works

01

We classify your category and pull 60 relevant prompts

We identify your product category from your domain and keyword, then draw from a prompt library built on how B2B SaaS buyers actually search. Recommendation queries, alternative queries, and budget queries cover the full range a purchase decision touches.

02

Each prompt is run live across all three AI engines

We fire each prompt at ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity and capture the full response. We record which brands appeared, which URLs were cited, and where in the response. This is live data, not scraped training data or cached results.

03

Results are scored across 10 factors and ranked by impact

The ML model, trained on citation outcomes from 181 B2B SaaS brands, scores your site against each factor. Gaps are weighted by expected citation lift and surfaced as a ranked action list so you see what to fix first, not just what's missing.

The 10 citation factorseach one measured from your audit data
Entity definitionSoon
Does your site tell AI exactly what category you're in and what problem you solve?
Structured data
Do your pages have FAQ, Product, and Organization schema that AI can parse directly?
Source authority
Are the sites that cite you also cited by AI? Low-DA citations don't transfer authority to AI responses.
Content freshness
When did your key pages last update? Claude deprioritises pages older than 6 months in fast-moving categories.
Reddit signal
Are you mentioned in threads Perplexity has indexed? 46.7% of Perplexity citations come from Reddit.
Backlink gap
Are you missing from directories and publications that already cite your competitors?
Citation rate
Across all 60 prompts, how often does your brand actually appear in AI responses?
Competitor displacement
Which competitor URLs are occupying the slots your brand should appear in?
Prompt coverage
How many of the category queries your buyers actually ask do you have any answer for?
Content gap type
Are the missing queries recommendation, alternative, or budget queries? Each type requires a different fix.

Action plan

Every gap has a specific fix. Ranked by impact.

Not "improve your schema" but "add FAQ schema to /pricing: ChatGPT cites 4 competitors on this query and they all have it." Each action shows the estimated point gain so you work the highest-leverage items first.

The exact queries where you're invisible, and who's there instead.

Every gap classified by query type: recommendation, alternative, or budget. You see the prompt, the competitor being cited, and how many times, not a vague category score.

Specific domains, DA scores, and competitor names, not "build more backlinks." Since these sites already cite your category, the bar for getting listed is lower than cold outreach.

Source intelligence

Which URLs are being cited instead of you, per AI engine.

For every query you should appear in, you see which sources each AI engine actually cited. The Easy Wins filter surfaces low-DA sources cited frequently, so the list stays actionable.

Why three engines

Each engine cites differently.
Each needs different signals.

A single unified score across all three engines hides where your actual gaps are. Besible breaks down your citation rate and action list per engine, because what fixes your ChatGPT score often doesn't move Perplexity.

ChatGPT
Static training data, updated monthly.

Content you published recently may not be in scope. What matters is persistent, indexable pages with clear entity signals, not fresh blog posts.

Key signals

Entity definition · Structured data · Source authority

Claude
Prefers structured, unambiguous content.

If your positioning is vague, which is common on early-stage SaaS sites, Claude won't confidently place you in category queries even when your product is the right fit.

Key signals

Entity clarity · Schema markup · Authoritative copy

Perplexity
Real-time web crawl on every query.

The most responsive to fresh content and community signals. Reddit presence matters more here than on any other platform, and it's the easiest signal to build.
